    OVERVIEW

    Solar sludge dryer system

    Solar drying system is based on the greenhouse effect where sludge is spread into a greenhouse and mixed mechanically with a mixing device periodically. Height of the sludge should be around 30 cm to reach max. Sludge in the greenhouse is mixed continuously and get dry, after that dry sludge is transferred to the out side of the green house with a conveyor system.

    Arrobot general features

    HOW IT OPERATES

    The machine has the following main operations

    01Load

    At the loading sequence the sludge is taken into the greenhouse by means of distribution conveyor. At that stage ARGES ®ARROBOT 2000 can be arranged to operate Mix and dry outside the loading area, or stops until loading completes.

    02Spread

    The sludge piles under the flaps are spreaded inside the greenhouse transversely and longitudinally achieving a pre-determined thickness of sludge inside the green house.

    03Mix and dry

    Once the spreading is over the machine begin turning the sludge up and down at its location with the recirculation fans operating. ARGES ®ARROBOT 2000 passes 9 times from every location of the floor and mixes the sludge upside down.

    04Unload

    Once the drying sequence completed ARROBOT starts unloading sequence and a pre-determined length of sludge is pushed to unloading conveyor at every forward movement. If the dried sludge needs to be piled for some time than the pre-determined area inside the greenhouse near to the discharge conveyor will be used for piling and ARROBOT will pile the dried sludge at this location.

    INLET/EXHOUST & RECIRCULATION FANS

    The system has the following main operations

    Greenhouse is designed with inlet/exhaust and recirculation fans. Inlet fans controls air temperature and pressure inside the greenhouse. The temp inside the green house is allowed up to 76°C. Above this temperature Inlet fans operates and takes the cool air from outside to inside. There is always a positive pressure inside the greenhouse so that no ambient air will flow into the greenhouse. When there is an excess wind velocity again the exhaust fans operate and regulates the inner pressure so that the ceiling will not be effected. Inlet fans are sucking a huge amount of air inside the green house that will as well, stops the anaerobic condition and odor will be diluted.

    Inside the greenhouse the drying process is not only dependent on solar radiation but as well the wind effect which is maintained inside the greenhouse by several recirculating fans. Recirculation fans operates with the humidity measured inside and when it is reached to a preset level the exhaust fans together with the inlet fans operate and refresh the air inside. Recirculation fans maintain a steady air inside the greenhouse.
